How did this come about?
Perhaps you’ve met Dawn? We do a number of shows each year. And each year a wonderful person called Dawn works with us. She injects enthusiasm and engages with customers on an increadibly understanding and professional way. Not surprising really, she manages a housing association by day and trains her local Scouts group in the evenings. Like a lot of our customers her very presence exudes the sense of “doing the right thing”.
Whenever I try to pay Dawn for the work she does with us she always refuses. She just wants to do the right thing. So this time we agreed between us that we would pay to a charity close to her heart,
Sadly last year Dawn’s beloved Grandmother died of preventable heart disease. So, as it is to millions, the British Heart Foundation’s work is important to Dawn.
The British Heart Foundation organise a series of amazing events each year, so if you’re looking for a challenge check out their site. And if you are a customer of ours, there may still be a few £40 deposits left in our Dawn Fund for you.
