Great British Paddle came to an end
The Great British Paddle sadly came to an end this week. Jordan Wylie’s epic attempt to paddle around the whole of our nation has finally succumb to Covid restrictions after he rounded Cape Wrath in 10ft waves, nearly 2,800 km from his starting point and just 23 miles from John-O-Groats.
The Black Dog
Jordan’s is an amazing story. One of battling the odds, achieving impossible feats, keeping the black dog of depression at bay and raising funds for a cause his heart has led him toward. Every penny he raises will go to build a school for children displaced in war-torn Yemen.
Nurture Hope
At this time of year it’s essential to nurture hope where you find it. We cannot think of a worthier cause or place where hope is needed so badly. So, as a support company of his, SplashMaps are now giving ALL the money you spend on the remaining stock of Great British Paddle Masks to Frontline Children to help Jordan keep his promise to the innocent victims of war. Every penny you spend on a Great British Paddle mask will help someone find hope and escape from the terrible aftermath of war.
Merry Christmas and well done on an incredible, inspirational journey Jordan! Thank you for taking us with you!
