As a Mountain Training qualified leader, Cathy’s expertise ensures every adventurer gains essential skills and, with her dedicated SplashMaps, she always has an invaluable tool on hand. After all, confident navigation depends upon navigation that can handle the most challenging mountain environments, remaining readable in rain, mud, and even high winds.

A Mountain Rescue Perspective

Mountain Rescue volunteers like Josh Hughes & Emily find more safety uses for their navigation while training.
Mountain Leader, Josh Hughes and Emily, both Mountain Rescue volunteers, find new safety uses for a SplashMap

Member of the armed forces and Mountain Leader, Josh Hughes is just one of the many Mountain Rescue Volunteers turning to SplashMaps in the Mountains. “As a volunteer, increasingly our call-outs are related to people who simply don’t know where they are,” complains Josh. “Fabric maps cannot run out of battery, have no reliance upon signal and survive all weathers. They’re ideal for keeping people safer and better prepared for their hikes”.
