I’ve led some beautiful off-road adventures recently, navigating the South Downs National Park. On the way we’ve been enjoying the stunning views, carrying out important research, discovering new uses for the maps, finding how our REALoutdoors map design works and getting our investors hotted up!
Harvest time in the South Downs can be tough on the off-roaders here. Sure enough the trails are firm and running fast, but not slippy thanks to this great weather. However the early harvest kicks-up a new problem. The air is thick with the dust from the combines. Only one solution…
Getting lost in the Downs is part of the fun. You can do this in the confidence that you’ll soon find your way back because…
…your map works brilliantly with a compass, and
…we’ve designed the maps to include the supportive information you need (and have removed all the distracting clutter you get on other, normally paper, maps!).
Critically the maps are there where you need them! If you didn’t bring one with you, just drop in to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park or the Shoe pub at Exton (where we stopped for some extensive research ;-)).
Most importantly, with a map like this you can always start on unfamiliar territory and just discover! On this ride I did my best to lose one of our financiers whist demonstrating our product. Couldn’t work! In fact SplashMaps can claim another Mountainbike convert!
